It may act by inhibition of transforming growth factor-b and altering collagen synthesis. Thereby exerting anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects.

A
intendanib is an orally administered tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets growth factor receptors involved in the fibrotic process and delay progression of fibrosis and may reduce acute exacerbations.

Corticosteroids and O2 therapy.
