Suggested answers

Could is more formal and tentative than Can.
• I’d be grateful if you | I’d appreciate it if you + could |would
There is no important difference between these phrases, but I’d be grateful might be used for a smaller request than l’d appreciate it,
Would you mind +ing form (or if + subject + verb in past tense, e.g. Would you mind if (borrowed …)
