What order are bats?

A

Bats are flying mammals in the order Chiroptera. They are the only mammals capable of true and sustained flight, and comprise 1/5 of mammalian species.

This order is usually divided into two well defined sub orders: the Megachiroptera and the Michrochiroptera.
