Autosomal dominant definition

A

Disease presents when there are genetic mutations in one copy of tea genes. If a parent possesses a mutant gene there is a 50% chance of passing it to their offspring

Autosomal recessive definition

A

Disease presents only when there are genetic mutations in both copy of the gene, this means that both parents have to carry a mutation gene copy and offspring will have a 25% chance of inheritance
