Describe briefly the method of pre-tensioned concrete
A
It is produced in pre-cast element factories. It is a casting bed with tensioned wires which will be filled with fresh concrete. When the concrete has hardened and obtained sufficient strenght the wires will be cut of and the beam will bend upwards.

Describe briefly the method of post-tensioned concrete
A
It is produced on site. Ducts are places in a form and the fresh concrete are poured over it. on one side it is a hydraulic jack to put tensile force on a tendon. pg 4

what do we mean by special concrete technology?
A
it requiers special knowledge, special experience and special equipment.
