- Problem-solving - important skill required to work things out and to make predictions.
- Memory - required for storing, recalling, and retrieving information.
- Moral development - reasoning, making choices, and informing the individual how to act towards self and others.
- Abstract p and creative thinking - essential for thinking and discussing situations that can not be observed.
