No, s7 of the CLA says that the Act is NOT a codification of the common law.
It doesn’t ad any new causes of actions under the CLA

  1. Foreseeability
  2. Indeterminate liability
  3. Autonomy of D
  4. Vulnerability of P
  5. D’s knowledge on whether their conduct is harmful
  6. Any other policies and principles that may be relevant to the case at hand.
