For my first piece, I’ll be playing Woman from A Woman Alone by Franca Rama and Dario Fo. It’s a one-woman show representing gender inequality. This is the opening scene where Woman notices a neighbour moved in from the window opposite hers and she strikes up a conversation.

For my second piece, I’ll be playing Rehanna from Angel by Henrey Naylor published on the 13th of July 2017. Set in a border town in Syria called Kobani. This piece follows the story of a Kurdish female fighter known as Angel who fought against the Islamic state for the YPG. This extract is taken before she joins the resistance.

For my last piece, I’ll be playing Juliet from Romeo and Juliet by Williams Shakespeare. In this scene, Juliet has just found out Romeo has killed her cousin 3 hours after their wedding. The nurse has just asked her if she’s going to speak well of the man who killed her cousin.
