Hospice
Agency or program for persons who are dying.

A nurse who completed 1 year nursing program and passed a licensing test.
Nursing Assistant
A person who has passed a nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program.
Nursing Team
Provide Nursing Care- LPN LVN RN NA
Patient focused care
Nursing care pattern; services are moved from department to bedside.
Primary nursing
Nursing care pattern; RN is responsible for persons total care.
Registered Nurse
Nursing care pattern; someone who has completed 2,3 or 4 years nursing program. Passed licensed test.
Team nursing
Nursing care pattern; nursing staff is led by RN who decided amount and what kind of care is given.
Terminal illness
An illness or injury from where the person will not likely recover.
