what is an uncodified constitution?

A

an evolving constitution meaning laws can be changed/stopped, it is untrenched

what does entrenched / untrenched mean?

A

entrenched is when it is almost impossible for laws to be changed, and have to go through a long process + needs a majority

untrenched is when laws can easily be introduced/changed through acts of parliament

what is the difference between unitary and federal?

A

unitary means that power ultimately lies in one place (e.g. the UK and parliament)

federal power is when power is divided between central and individual constitutions (e.g. how American states have different laws)
