What is the difference between a
Standard and Elongated Toilet Seat?
An elongated bowl will be roughly 2-inches longer in the front than a round bowl.
There are industry standards for toilet seats – all toilets have seat post holes on 5 1/2” centers – all elongated bowls are 18 1/2” from seat posts to front of rim, and all round bowls are 16 1/2”. Any manufacturer’s seats will fit any toilet manufacturers bowls if they are standard round or standard elongated.

Closet Spud.
Comes in many sizes. The spuds primary function is to create a seal. So, this seal holds the water in the tank. The place it fits on the base is where the tank drains into the bowl. It is supposed to be a water-tight solution for connecting the tank and seat portion together while also allowing passageway from the tank to the bowl.
Is this a Urinal Spud?
Yes.
The urinal spud prevents the water from leaking out from the flushometer when the urinal is flushed. Urinal Spuds are available in various sizes.

What is a Right/Left Coupling?

In some places they do not allow any unions on gas work.
The nipples have standard threads on one side and left handed threads on the other. most suppliers stock them only in 3-1/2” lengths. They are not usually marked. A left-right coupling is the same, one side standard threads and the other side left handed threads. They are usually marked by having 4 grooves instead of the standard 2 or have a red circle stamped on them.

of Copper Tubing?
The three grades are type K, type L, type M (soft or rigid)
Type K Copper Pipe: Type K copper pipe has the thickest wall of all the common types. It is used for water distribution, fire protection, oil, HVAC, and many other applications in the construction industry.
Type L Copper Pipe: Type L copper pipe is used for interior plumbing, fire protection, and some HVAC applications. Type L also can be used outside the home where it will be directly exposed. Type L copper is thinner than Type K but thicker than type M. can be used with sweat, compression, and flare fittings.
Type M Copper Pipe is used most commonly for domestic water service and vacuum systems. It can be used with sweat, compression, and flare fittings. Type M tubing is favored for residential work for its relatively low price; a thinner wall means less copper and thus a lower price. Type M copper is not allowed by plumbing codes in all areas and applications.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TOILET AND A SINK PLUNGER
Sink plungers cannot be used in toilets as it does not form a tight seal in curved toilets to create a vacuum. Usually, in hardware stores, the bell is pushed inside which makes the toilet plunger look like sink plunger.
