what are some differences between psychologist and psychiatrist?

A

psychologist - require 6-7 years of study, doctorate in psychology, treatment using psychotherapies eg.talking therapy, cannot admit patients to a hospital

psychiatrist - require 13 years of study, medical doctor, can prescribe medication to treat disorders, can admit patients to a hospital
