Course info, announcements, lecture recordings, course materials like work, slides, reading materials, and practice questions, and grades
What recordings will be a available on bright space and how long will they take to be uploaded
Select live learning sessions, NOT small group or review sessions. Recordings can take up to 2 business to be posted so attending live sessions in the best way to learn
What professionalism incidents can warrant?
A deficient grade in the course regardless of any other score and may be reported on the MSPE letter for the residency application package
Incomplete grades must be completed within ?
1 yr or they’ll be converted to an F
To pass a student must have what grades ?
70% on all written, active learning, and assignment components
To get a good professionalism score students must
Attend all required learning activities and complete required assignments
Professionalism concerns should be filed for
repeat minor offenses despite initial email warning and major violation

An email that will give an Overview of the curriculum for the following week (systems based and longitudinal courses), course contact info and special announcements

A precourse quiz given during orientation to asses the understanding of the course expectations
When will the midterm exam be
After the first 3 weeks of unit 1
How will cumulative weekly quizzes be administered
Asynchronously before the midterm and in person after
What kind of active learning modalities will we use and what can happen if we don’t participate
4 Clinical problems (COs) small group sessions, 1 clinical correlation (CC) large group session, and 1 TBLs and there can be a deduction to ones grade if they don’t participate
What happens if you get a CO or F on a written component or active learning component
For an written component a single exam will be given to asses their competency of that component and for an active learning component a make up session can be arranged if the course director is contacted
What happens if a student receives a grade of conditional or fail after remediation? After 3 fails in one year or four?
Students will receive a letter from the student progress committee (SPC) / be eligible for dismissal by the Academic Review board
