A
A product that falls outside the lower or upper specification limits

What is the lower control limit and upper control limit?
A
It sets the process limits to reduce variation - we want the product to be within a certain area to avoid producing defective pieces. It is self-imposed by the organisation so you don’t go anywhere near the lower or upper specification limits set by the customer.
