Signs of shock?
A
Resp rate: usually increased, deep sighing respiration, will decrease in late stages.
Heart rate: sinus tachycardia (except in cardiogenic shock or spinal cord injury).
Blood pressure: remains normal until very late in the shocked state, hypotension is a late sign.
Neurological: lethargy
Skin: cold, clammy, acrocayanosis.
Urine output <0.5ml/kg/hr
ABG: marked metabolic acidosis, high lactate.
