Semi structured interviews
Mix of unstructured and structured. The interview has some structured questions prepared but js free to develop and ask some open ended questions and have conservations

Non directive interviewing
The interviewer adopts a passive role by attempting to avoid leading the interviewee into giving certain responses and instead allowing them to express themselves in their own way the aim of this is to prevent interviewer bias
Active Interviewing
All the researchers would argue that nondirective interview techniques could create an artificial situation which can affect the literacy therefore some research has preferred to have a more active or directive approach to try to keep the conversation focused on the topic
