A

Well first of all thank you for interviewing me to this interview, for this position today. I am a loyal and trustworthy person who will always represents the business in a positive way. Although i am relatively new to the working environment i do have experience in the world of work. During the summer of 2021, i completed an internship at Greenside capital partners, were i was as research analyst, who was put in an investment role. This gave me an invaluable insight on how you must plan carefully before you start work, in order to maintain standards of the company. i WOULD DESCRIBE MY SELF AS A HIGH ACHIEVER, WHICH WOULD BENEFIT CAPCO. I was apart of the basketball team under 1 and won numerous of events, because we always worked on our weaknesses and careful analyzation of compeittors. The type of person i am means that you are getting someone hungry and eager to impress.

What motivates you? 3 things.

A

I am motivated by several things. First and Foremost. I am motivated by meeting deadlines, targets or goals. I believe that i am at my best when i have responsibility for important deadlines because this gives me a great sense of achievement.
I am also motivated by learning new things. If i get the opportunity to take on a new role or learn a new skill then this motivates me because i feel as if i am improving the depth of my knowledge.

A

Providing excellent customer service is vital to build and maintain long term relationships with clients. When operating as a shoe reseller, i always valued customers first. Having sourced a Shoe for an individual who contacted me via instagram DM. I was able to source the shoe in under 24 hours and a very good price, 20% up from retail price and delivery to customer the same day. I provided shoe protector spray and a bag and answered all enquires in a fast manner.

Tell me a time when you worked as part of a team? ( STAR TECHNIQUE)

A

Talk about marketing project simply
Say why team work is important (improves productivity on many levels.)
Situation: What was the marketing project, deadline and how many in the group.
Task: I suggested first we brainstorm and do an in-depth study of the industry or food waste and identify common areas and trigger points we want to identify.
Action : Meet weekly to discuss significant points and research we had done, and constructively giving points of good and points of bad.
Result: Submitted a 4000 word report, where we had weeks in advance to read over and constantly improve every section until we thought it was ready.

Tell me about a time when you managed multiple tasks at once?

A

( BASICALLY HERE YOU TALK ABOUT HOW YOU TAKE A STEP BACK AND ANALYSE THE SITUATION TO PROTISE) When having to manage multiple tasks at ones and i make sure i protisise events. The way i protiise events is determined by the due date and whether it could bring me potential business, to improve the long term position of my self. I also make a fresh plan with no distractions, in which i give accurate time dates on when i think i can finish a task, and also give myself and hours stretch on top incase i do not finish. Give an example of flawless fits and tutoring.

When have you shown flexibitility at work?

A

I believe i am a flexible person and i will always be there to help out my collegues. To give you an example of this i remember when i was working at the Tottenham hotspur stadium, for a big north London derby, were a member of staff was becoming increasingly frustrated with a member of public and was starting not to behave in the manner which reflects the Tottenham’s work standards. I politely spoke with that member of staff, and asked whether they wanted to swop positions because i was in a quiet area of the stadium. Prior to fact i consulted the supervisor i was working with and he accepted. When i replaced her in her section, i was able to build a humerous relationship with the public causing a problem, leading the problem to be resolved.

A

In 5 years time, if i am given this prestigious opportunity to do this internship for your company, i hope i am able to progress, into working full time in Capco. I aim to be a high performing productive member of your team, someone who can be relied upon to achieve tasks on time and to a high standard. I would also be open to progression in the company, if of course you see me as a fit. Also see myself openly be training up new members of staff joining CAPCO, using the experience and expertise gained.

Outreach to more clients( i imagine services are very expensive, but maybe the communication of price = quality is not far fetched enough.)
Its not one of the biggest Tech consultancy firms, it is acquired by wipro, but maybe acquire a firm that has more services provided)

In consulting, much of your growth will come from feedback on clients projects. How do you accept and implement feedback?

A

I ways view feedback as positive and always willing to accept constructive feedback, as i am the type of employee that always wants to grow as an individual. I don’t respond to feedback emotionally. I will raitonalise the feedback and implement this into my work. For example, for my shoe business, i was told that a customer review page was useful, to authenticate purchase experience. I added it… go on.

A

Part of being an excellent communicator is also having the power of persuasion when necessary. I believe i have this innate within me. Give an example of BHF, able to raise a lot of money, being perusasisve comes from being authentic, being able to tell a story. Give intrinsitic value to the client too.

Firstly, the candidate should state that they will fill the 3 gallon jug and pour it into the 5 gallon one.
Next, they must fill the 3 gallon jug again and pour it into the 5 gallon jug until it starts overflowing.
This will leave 1 gallon in the 3 gallon jug.
The candidate should then empty the 5 gallon jug and pour the remaining 1 gallon from the 3 gallon jug into the empty 5 gallon one.
Finally, fill the 3 gallon jug up again and simply pour it into the 5 gallon jug to make a total of 4 gallons.

“I would describe myself as hard-working, driven, fearless, the type of person who takes ownership of situations, and someone who is not afraid of a difficult challenge.”

What is your biggest strength?

A

I am Resourceful - I am an innovative problem solver and i always look for ways to solve difficult challenges - give the example of my tutoring zoom or library, the student found it hard to study, i was able to ask parents and find hobbies or the student , and found that they are different optimal times they do work, and are visual learner. GCSE kids.

Tell me a time you had conflict with a team member, how did you handle it.

A

1st sentence goes like conflict is a part of human nature, but it is important to dispose this within a group and tackle the issue straight away be because we do not want to affect the standards of a group.
Talk about marketing project LSE and how someone didn’t turn up to a group meeting.
Then say it lead to them collaborating with the group and he in fact was very on top and knowledagble on this sector.

What is your ideal working environment?

A

my ideal work environment is a place where employees at every level have good communication with each other and with their supervisors.

I also hope to work in a place that is centered on development and teambuilding, where the unique talents of each employee can be recognized and given the opportunity to grow.

While doing some research on Capco, I took note of the value of Being yourself at work. Motivating inclusion and diversifying opinions at the heart of innovation.

A

teamwork is when a group comes together to accomplish a task, and their main priority is the quality of the end result. It isn’t about shining as an individual. Instead, it’s about having the best outcome possible through the use of cumulative effort.

A

If believe teamwork is where i can really influence my intellectual curiosity.
GIVE AN EXAMPLE USE STAR TECHNIQUE.
1) Situation: Use internship experience at Greenside capital partners. I was a research analysts where i was put into the investment distubtion, with a group of high level indidivuals. We focused on green assets, and we as a group needed to understand and have a better understanding of what asset class to potentially work on and then pitch at the end of the week.
2) We delegated roles, where me and another individual who had little experience in Private equity and venture capital did huge sums of research.
3) we were to pitch and investment plan.

How do you define arrogance? Are you arrogant ( EXAMPLE HINT DOFE)

A

Arrogrance is the attitude of being superior beyond reason. I am not an arrogrant person but rather a confident person. I have great belief in myself and i am fearless. Give an example, DOFE, i was confident to lead the group even though i probably wasn’t the best to read a map in my group, because i wanted to feel some sort of responsibility, instead of just listening and following.

How have you shown yourself to be a leader.

A

During DOFE we were allowed to pick groups and a female friend who didn’t get along with a lot of people at DOFE, it felt like i was the only one who spoke to her. She didn’t seem like she enjoyed dofe anymore, and it is quite a hard experience to do without speaking to someone, I offered to my DOFE assessor if i could join that group for a day, that she was in because i wanted to speak to her and get her morale up.

Tell me a time you disagreed with a decision that was made at work.

A

Me working as a Road steward at black friars, me and another individual could only let people through the barriers if they had a CAD pass or had their blues and twos on. There was this family in a car that had been driving for a long time and they live across the road, it was safe and there was no reason not to not let them in, there child was very tired and looked dizzy. I radioed through to my supervisor and they said this wasn’t allowed.

A

1) Mindset has changed - no more a materialist ( i seek for future gratification rather than immediate gratification)
2) Friendship groups have changed - with more intellectual like minded people
3) Im more aware about the world reading news ( allowing me to extend my vocabulary)

How do you ensure all your work gets accomplished in a productive manner?

A

I have learnt about my body and how i can focus, so in education i know for example i have to do some reading i will start it at 8 then finish at 12, because thats where i focus the most.
Also timetables, sleep as well, ensuring i get 8+ hours of sleep.

A

It depends on the task. When it comes to brainstorming, teams produce great ideas with multiple input, and teams can highlight people’s strengths. But I certainly enjoy working on my tasks as an individual as well, since in many ways it takes the ability to work alone for the team to fully succeed.”

What is your greatest achievement.( HINT INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE)

A

My greatest achievement, talk about internship, talk about how you wasn’t fond upon the idea of asset management, because although work is felt not to be boring i didn’t feel the buzz. We had to learn a lot of Asset management Jargon in a 2 days and completely research a field, where E.S.G was very prevalent. As an individual i was able to do that, create a presentation as a group and i was commended by a panel of senior members. I was given the opportunity to extend this to the summer of 2022 but it wasn’t something i enjoyed.

How well do you perform under pressure AND give an example?

A

I’ve found that a healthy amount of Pressure motivates me to stay on track and work as efficiently and effectively as possible. Talk about deadline for marketing project, I was able to place this in a fresh diary, which could prevent from any distractions. I also when i do feel pressure, have a change of scenery so i will go to the gym, then continue. This way i will optain maximum concentration levels.

I consider reaching both small and large milestones towards a goal as a success. I view success as a process where challenges encourage me to look at things from different perspectives and to find creative solutions to problems.
EXAMPLE, CREATING TRAINER/SHOE BUSINESS, FLAWLESS FITS, I HAD TO ENSURE I HAD GOOD RELATIONSHIPS, WITH COLLABATORS. WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO MY SUCESS, OF PUTTING SMILIES ON THE FACES OF MY Clients.

Tell me a time you failed?

A

Actually, when i started out my internship at Greenside capital partners, i was keen to make a positive impression on my work colleagues and supervisor/ manager. I was assigned a task to research a specific field and what specific asset classes, i think would be very successful, given the risk appepitate of a potential client My eagerness to do a good job, i failed to listen to the brief ( i wasn’t aware of the risk appetite of the client) , i only focused on the end goal on what he wanted me to achieve. That meant when i finished the project and presented it to him, i made a fatal error, as i missed out an important part of the project. I was disappointed in my self, i apologised, to correct this i went home and corrected my mistake and presented my findings in the morning.
