I work as a l.a. County fire suppression aid and my crew works as a team to fight Wildland fires. I understand that 1/3rd of this department is a brush response area and I also have experience with the U.S. Forest service with the Big bear hotshots fire crew. Hotshots are regarded as the best of the best in Wildland fire and through my hard work and dedication to service, I was awarded the rookie if the year for the 2008 fire season. I understand that 80-85% of the calls are medical in nature and I have my emt and have worked in an ambulance for American medical response and I served the very diverse communities if garden grove, and fountain valley. I’ve gone a step above that and have obtained my national emt certification. Education- I have an associates degree through mount San Antonio college and have attended a basic fire academy and a Wildland fire academy

I had to take directions from people who only had 6 months of experience.
