Do you have a boyfriend? What does he think about you competing in pageants?

Answer 1

No I do not have a boyfriend. It’s my Senior year and I will be moving off to a college next year that isn’t exactly anywhere close. If I did have a boyfriend I should hope he would encourage me and support me in everything I do

How would you promote this pageant should you win?

Answer 2

If honored to be Pickens Academy’s next Miss Image i will promote this pageant while participating in community functions and events. I will also encourage girls to participate to help build confidence and communication skills

If you had to pick someone besides yourself to win this pageant who would it be?

Answer 3

Katie: she is funny, outgoing, and has a kind soul. That is a reason why we’re friends because she is always one to listen and encourage others in the right direction with the Lord.

Tell us about a time when you overcame defeat.

Answer 4

While playing basketball this past year our team was defeated in the Region Championship by the same team we lost to twice in the regular season. Personally and as a team we came together and put in extra work everyday after practice and never gave up and ended up winning the state championship against that exact team

Do you think that social media has helped or hurt our society?

Social media has both helped and hurt our society. what the first thing you do every morning? Check your phone to see what the latest scoop is or just to check up with friends. It has brought our society closer and helped us with getting news and communicating but it has also hurt it by not having that one on one confrontation and the spreading of false news

Who is your role model?

Sue Moore my grandmother. She passed away this past July while battling breast cancer but you would’ve never known it. I have never seen someone having such a terrible time in their life but never looking down about it. She encouraged me to be a better student, friend, and follower of Jesus Christ

If you could meet one celebrity who would it be?

Answer 7

Morgan Freeman.
He is a rare example of a celebrity that didn’t allow the fame to get to his head. He is a great, wise and smart man and a great actor.

If you could meet anyone from history who would it be and why?

Answer 8

If I could meet anyone from history, it would be Thomas Edison. He never gave up on his ideas. He said that he never failed. When something didn’t work, he didn’t see it as failure but a way to learn how to do better on the next try.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Receiving my softball scholarship. This may not seem big so to some people but playing softball is college is what I’ve dreamed of doing since I was a little girl. I’m not exactly the most athletic person so I’ve had to train more than other girls and that is what put me over the top. The extra time I spend after practice, the extra cuts I take in the cage, and my willingness to never back down

What is one thing that you would change about yourself?

I would change my tendency to procrastinate. I often make lists and organize my work, but then Netflix draws me in and then the next thing I know it’s 11 and I have calculus homework due tomorrow. One thing I should do to help myself is set a time limit on how many episodes I watch and then turn the TV off.

If you met Donald Trump today, what would you say to him?

If I met Donald Trump of course I would be star struck but I wouldn’t be able to get out of my mouth fast enough the gratitude and thanks I have for him being willing to take on the role of leading our great nation. and of course his plan to Make America Great Again

What is the most embarrassing that that has ever happened to you?

I went on a date and had to pull out my tooth

Earlier this year I was in a car accident. I had a few injuries that included breaking my face and losing my front tooth.

What is your biggest fear?

The transition from high school to college. I’ve gone yo school here almost my entire life and I know everyone. It will be a huge change for me being able to accept I won’t be with the same people everyday in the same building doing the same things. I will be out on my own with no one but myself

Do you have any unique family traditions?

We go duck hunting because my dad doesn’t have any sons

If I was a genie in a bottle and could grant you any wish what would it be?

That my life would be that i consider happy and fulfilling. For the world to trend towards peace, tolerance, and better learning. To forget that I ever made these wishes.

I never meet a stranger. I’ve always been one to be louder than everyone else, always making jokes, and always making the mood light.

Pickens Academy is small school. Not only do I know everyone’s name, its more than that. I have some sort personal relationship with everyone here, we’re one big family.

I’m a golden retriever. I’m kind and loving and always excited. I sometimes like to stick out but not exactly the rude type.
