A

Formerly a cs and cs degree pursuer and i believe that speaks to who I am. I’m someone interested and adept at working with technology, that also has an interest in cognitive and psychological medicine.

What are your strengths and weaknesses

A

Weakness - inability to sit still, i dont like to not have something to not do, I like to keep busy. So if it’s nearing the end of my shift, I don’t like that I might not have something to do in those final minutes

Strength - Ability to multitask, especially in regard to customers or patients. Such as working on multiple patient dietary plans at once.

I don’t have any experience with medical software specifically, but because I’ve developed software I’m confident I can pick up any framework rather quickly

A

I’d approach them and politely ask them why they were upset. I’d listen to their concerns and reassure them that we’d handle their concern promptly.

A

I’d respond to patients based on the order their requests came. If the matter was urgent, I would prioritize that patient and handle their request promptly.

The reminder that every aspect of a patient’s care, from the time they’re seen to the moment they leave, plays a part in their overall wellbeing is enough of a motivator for me to handle each task with utmost care and efficiency.

A

First I’d reassure the patient that I’d answer them shortly, then I’d reach out to ask a supervisor if i couldn’t find the answer elsewhere.

Understanding the importance of teamwork at work, I try to be friendly, polite, and approachable.

A

I’d set a guideline in terms of the earliest and latest times available to schedule. Allow enough room for changes and consider appointment length.

A

I’d make sure my work area was tidy or study up on any relevant information, if I still had more time I’d ask anyone in the area if they needed anything.

Describe a situation where you exceeded expectations as an employee

A

When I was working in the kitchen, I remember delivering to a floor ‘s staffing room and a patient waved me down and told me they wanted a snack that wasnt staffed in the patient fridge. I let the desk know I was returning with his snack shortly since I had the extra time.

A

I’d listen to their concerns and explain the importance of the test in a way that may better appeal to them.

A

I’d prioritize check-ins and urgent patient matters, and ensure I communicated with staff at all times.

A

Carefully reviewing each piece of patient information after entering it, cross-referencing informations and asking clarifying questions when necessary

Can you describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult patient or visitor?

A

I remember delivering a snack to a patient late at night, and they were really upset they couldn’t get hot food. I would be too if I was ill and hungry. So I asked them whether they were staying overnight and told them the kitchen would open in the morning when they were still here, and went through the reoccurring hot foods the kitchen has in the morning so they had something to look forward to.

A

A position where I can grow and be an important piece of the patient care system

A

I’ve kept up with them in recent years and they’ve seen my work ethic from delivery to their break rooms and areas

What’s your biggest achievement?

A

Interning at Google among some of the brightest engineers and working with some really creative people. Working on projects to present to leads at Google taught me the importance of teamwork.
