- Allow me to utilise a range of skills and qualities I possess
- I enjoy working with others
- Through conversations with family members in other forces I have taken an interest in the role and researched further

- I believe my morals and interest align with the values and priorities of Northumbria police
- I like the idea of being able to help and give back to my local area
- The diversity of the area will allow me to work alongside a range of people which is something I have always enjoyed

What preparation have you done in the lead up to applying to become a police officer?
A
- Spoke with family members both serving in the police and retired to gain a deeper understanding of the requirements and how this can effect my everyday life
- Attended the online event to learn more about my options and the degree entry programme
- Researched the skills and qualities required and the different entry routes and i personally felt like the role suited me
- I keep up to date with the social media pages to find out what you have been doing in the local community
