1) Saudi Arabia - Paul did walk about I followed with my normal quick look prior to passengers arriving at the airplane found the pitot tube cover still on.
2) Army - observing an instrument training flight, LOC BC instructor wanted to know why the student was turning away from the needle.

2) Airport security after 9/11

A

Quality of work atmosphere and quality of life.

1)no other airline like SW no airline can offer work conditions like SW
a: sense of community and purpose in a respectful environment.

a: bases and routes close to distant family member.
b: easy to make commuting to different bases

3) Stability to plan for the future
a: difficult to see what the future will be with respect to current position and contract flying.

Tell me about a time when you did not land in your original destination.

A

1) With U.S. Silica arriving Berkeley Springs as a squall line approached from the West wall of water covered the opposite end of the runway.
2) U.S. Silica scheduled for Illinois Valley (Peru Illinois) Fog in the morning but forecasted to lift by the time of our arrival. It did not and we diverted to our alternate Landed and then drove our passenger to Peru.
3) Flexjet on the arrival for Aspen and a Netjets airplane had a frozen brake on landing an skidded off the side of the runway. Held for 40 min and with the passenger in the decision making loop we diverted to Riffle
