  1. Tell me about yourself?
A

I am a Social Media Specialist and I specialize in helping entrepreneurs growing their social media page. And over the course of my career I have helped many clients in over 5 different industries. A recent win I’d like to share is when I helped my client launched their first social media campaign with minimal online presence, which eventually lead to exponential growth of over than 150 new followers and brought in approx. 90.000 reach over a short 2 weeks period. My strength is my ability to understand what the audience wants to see and benefit from your brand and turn them into engaging and effective content that your audience loves. In my recent role, I did extensive audience research and developed a content strategy and I’ve been able to help my client to increase their reach rate by 500 to 600%. What I am seeking is a company that I can add value to, that I can help improve their business’s performance by implementing creative and technical strategies.

  1. Tell me about the time you had to deliver disappointing news?
A

In my recent role as a content strategist, I had to inform my colleagues that our ads was not performing well. It was a tough conversation because my team believed we already tried our best, but I approached my colleagues with empathy by acknowledging our effort. I also presented a strategy to improve the ads, we conducted extensive research on the audience and we decided to change the ad creative and experiment with it. As a result, we were able to improve the ad performance and brought in over 40 new sign ups in less than a month.

Why do you want this job?

A

After reading the job description carefully, I found that the required skills align perfectly with those I have developed throughout my career. Especially the job description mentioned that this role would be responsible for optimizing social media strategy to increase engagement. Over the course of my career, I’ve helped my clients develop their social media strategy and most of them now have stronger social media presence. And it gives me satisfaction knowing that I contribute in growing their business online. I’m excited about this position at Optimum7 because it aligns perfectly with my career goals of working with a group of professionals who like big ideas where I can leverage my skills.

  1. What was the toughest challenge you’ve faced?
A

In my previous role as a social media manager for a homemade bakery, the biggest challenge I faced was my client’s inability to provide me with the image/video asset for me to make content from. My responsibility as a social media manager was to make relevant content but the lack of video/image became a big challenge for me. So I did what was above and beyond, I combined my videography and baking skills to make the product and record the content myself. Additionally, I also utilized AI tools to generate images. As a result, my initiative not only met the client’s needs but also demonstrated my dedication and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Tell me about a time you faced conflict in a team?

A

I remember when a colleague was consistently late with his tasks due to a conflict with another team member. And when I approached him about it, he got a little bit defensive but I kept calm and I reminded him that his delays were impacting the entire team’s performance, and I also asked how I could help him. He told me that if I could lighten his workload he would appreciate it. So we worked together and as a result we were able to meet deadlines and expectations. From this experience, I learned that if you’re engaging with empathy and addressing the conflict promptly, you can better navigate conflict and be a more helpful and supportive colleague.

A

A

When asked about my biggest weakness, I would say that I sometimes have difficulty saying no to colleagues who need help finishing their tasks. This has occasionally led to an increased workload for me. However, I am actively working on prioritizing my own tasks before assisting others to ensure I maintain a manageable workload and deliver my best work.

As a social media specialist, I collaborate with the marketing team and graphic designers to plan and produce campaigns and content, I also regularly produce reporting to measure the impact of social efforts. A

When I was researching about this company, I was really interested that this company really prioritizes integrity and honesty while also striving for success. I believe integrity is very important in fostering trust in relationship with clients. I think not many companies would be comfortable enough in embracing integrity and transparency. So this sort of thinking really inspires me and that’s why I’m very excited about this position at this company.
