Q

What’s the difference between an Acting and Temporary Duty Manager?

A

A temporary DM is for situations in which your usual manager is absent for an undefined amount of time or leaves their position without warning.

An acting DM is for situations in which your usual manager is absent for a pre-determined amount of time or cannot make a one-off shift, like if they are going on leave or have called in sick.

Q

Who is responsible for checking ID?

A

Everyone - bar staff, door staff, etc. At Pinot this would mean all artist hosts should be checking ID before selling alcohol or if we think any of our guests look younger than 25. At YOPS, this would mean that all 3 of us should be checking ID before any alcohol sales.
