    - Signage advertising food options
    staff should actively promote food consumption
  2. To provide transport options
    - A telephone should be available so people can call alternative safe transport should they need to
    - Contact details for local taxi drivers should be on display for patrons to see
  3. Prevent unsafe drinking/intoxication
    - Signage indicating intoxicated patrons will not be served
    - Staff trained to the standard required to execute the sale and supply of alcohol act 2012 e efficiently thus preventing intoxicated patrons
  4. Provide non alcoholic beer etc and or low alcoholic beverages
    - Tap water provided free of charge
    - Soft drink, non and low alcoholic beverages advertised and available at the bar point of service
  5. To prevent service to prohibited people
    - Staff to ID anyone who looks under the age of 25 to ensure alcohol is not sold or supplied to a minor
    - Staff should know not to sell alcohol to intoxicated patrons as per the act
  6. Intention statement
    - The bene t of this is having clear guidelines and rules as to what is acceptable and non acceptable on the premises
