What contributions can you bring to Delta that highlight your skills?
- Working in finance, I know the importance of financial literacy, especially starting at a young age. I volunteer for Junior Achievement in this area and would do a similar program like that in the Fairfax area
- I am also interested in the arts so similarly to the program that you all have coming up around the poetry and writing contest, I would do a similar program that has to do with expressing yourself creatively
- Most recently, I’ve started to focus a lot on my own mental health and I’ve found yoga to be really great at helping someone maintain staying in the present moment. I would have a yoga and meditation event.
- I also lift weights and I know that women shy away from lifting weights due to bulking up but we actually don’t have the muscle mass that would make us bulky. I would have an event where we invite a personal trainer to teach us how to do easy weight lifting exercises to increase our overall health.
