Interview 3: Panel Prep Flashcards

1
Q

How have you shown kindness in the workplace?

A

In my previous role, a colleague was overwhelmed with creating a project plan for a World Breastfeeding Week campaign. I helped by drafting a Gantt chart and setting clear deadlines for content sign-offs. This not only relieved their stress but also strengthened our teamwork. They were so grateful, and they even reused the plan for future campaigns.

Q

How have you shown bravery in the workplace?

A

In my most recent role, leadership training was offered only to managers. I felt everyone could benefit from this opportunity, so I raised the idea with my manager, highlighting how it could empower all staff to grow professionally. Leadership agreed and opened the training to everyone. Many colleagues thanked me for speaking up, as they had been hesitant to ask themselves.

Q

How have you shown inclusivity in the workplace?

A

While planning a video campaign for SEND children, I realized our original idea of using a full film crew might disrupt the sessions. We adjusted by using just one camera operator, who met with the children and parents beforehand to build trust.
We avoided bright lights and wires to ensure the children felt comfortable. This inclusive approach ensured the campaign respected everyone’s needs.

Q

How have you shown positivity in the workplace?

A

I’m naturally positive, even when facing challenges. I approach tasks with a can-do attitude, ask for support when needed, and see failures as learning opportunities.
This mindset helps me tackle work more practically and encourages others around me to stay motivated.

Q

Can you share an example of when you made a positive impact on someone’s life?

A

In my previous role, I supported a smaller partner in growing their social media channels. I sat down with them to share best practices and created templates they could use. This gave them the confidence to promote their services to families more effectively. They felt empowered to continue managing their social media, and I remained available for support when needed.
