why do you want to be an ODP?
A
“I want to be an ODP because I’m passionate about providing care to patients when they are most vulnerable and ensuring their safety throughout the perioperative process. I’ve always had a strong interest in healthcare, and after exploring different roles, I was drawn to the ODP’s unique combination of technical expertise, patient care, and teamwork. I thrive in high-pressure situations, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a team—all qualities that I believe are essential for this role. I’m also excited about the opportunity to learn and develop these skills further through the BSc course and to contribute to the vital work ODPs do in the healthcare system.”
