What are the five interval qualities?
Perfect, Major, Minor, Diminished, and Augmented
When counting for an interval, do you count the original note as one or no spaces? Ex. would C to E be 2 or 3.
Yes, you count the original note as 1, then continue counting up to the interval
What is an interval?
The distance between two pitches
How are intervals measured?
From the lower note. Even if the higher note comes first on a score, count up from the lower note to get the interval.

What is a perfect interval?
Unison, the same note, also known as prime (fourth, fifths and eighths)
Why are they called perfect intervals?
Because the notes blend well together or it can be difficult to tell there are two notes/the ratios of their frequencies are simple whole numbers
