Q

How many Requests for Admission can u serve?

A

Generally there are NO LIMITS for requests for admissions.
Trying to expedite trial, go is to get facts out there cuz want to narrow issues. Get parties to admit to things that aren’t a big deal.
ALSO…if RefuSe to admit algo then tells u algo about their case.

Q

Interrogatories and Requests for admission good for?

A

Relatively inexpensive, narrowing issues, I.D.ing unfavorable witnesses & evidence not part of initial disclosure, develop potential areas for further inquiry.
But can’t follow up live like in depos. Not likely to find smoking gun.
