What can be seen in a line or IV contamination with NaCl?
The sodium and chloride levels will both be elevated, other results will be decreased
What can be seen in an EDTA contamination?
Potassium will be increased and calcium + magnesium will be decreased
What can be seen in a myocardial infarction?
Decreased CO2, increased AST, ALP and TnT
What may be seen in the urinalysis of a patient with a myocardial infarction?
Positive for blood

High uric acid and crystals in the urine
What can be found in Type 2 Diabetes?
High glucose, urea and creatinine
Glucose and protein in the urine
What can be found in type 1 Diabetes?
blood: High glucose, low CO2
in urine: low pH, ketones and glucose
What can be seen in nephrotic syndrome?
blood: High urea and creatinine, low total protein and albumin
urine: 4+ protein, oval fat bodies
