What does it mean when a gift is adeemed?
A
When a gift/ specific legacy in a will fails because the property has been sold, given away or destroyed during the testator’s lifetime.

A
Property which is capable of increase or decrease e.g ‘my shares’ ‘my jewellery’

Does a codicil revive an otherwise no longer valid will?
A
Yes if a will in made invalid e.g by marriage, if the codicil clearly refers to the will and demonstrates an intention to revive it, it will be valid.
