What are the skills required for working effectively with groups
Negotiation - Achieving agreement by discussion. Often bargain for advantage
Meditation - a negotiation to resolve differences completed by an impartial party
Leadership - ability to guide, inspire and direct others

What are the three leadership styles
Autocratic
The leader makes all the decisions without constulting others
Democratic
Collaborative, the leader involves other people in the decision making process
Laiseez-faire
Casual leadership, minimises the leaders involvement, allows people to make their own decisions, often cuases disunity. Works best when people are capable and motivated in making their own decisions and no need for central coordination

Introvert
People who get their energy and emotion within themselves
Quiet and reserved
Extrovert
People who get their energy and emotion from the world and people around them

What are the two self-generated beleifs
Experience - People can develop beliefs due to an experience they have had in the past. In is the most powerful way a belief can be formed due to a concept being proved to an individual in a different way, usually including the constructs that have a cause and effect of relationships.
Reflection - Process people use to explain the word around them. These beliefs are more abstract then beliefs formed by an experience. The individual internally reflects on experiences, observations, personal opinion ad opposing viewpoints of others and generate their ow beleifs as to how much they think they could reaction to a situation.
What are the two external beleifs?
Expert
Speaking to someone with a. high qualification and high amount of knowledge can alter a belief due to the respect and trust an expert will give.
Authority
Some positions of leadership bring with them power that people will belive what they say purley because of the title they hold. This person of authority may not have any evidence or be an expert in their field but individuals will believe what they say anyway.
Outline the formation of attitudes
the cognitive component- Thoughts and beliefs people hold
The effective component- Emotional feelings
The behavioural component- predispositions to act in certain ways
What are some things that can be valued more than others?
- Based on culture, ethnicity, demographics
- Peers or role models
- Develop on childhood change
- Depend on social and socioeconomic conditions
What are social networks, how can they effect our beleifs, attitudes, and values
A social nework is a web of interconnected people
information, beleifs, values, attitudes and communication flows between nodes
Who you intereact with and who others interact with “conectedness”
the more highly you are connected the more influenced you will be by others
How does media, marketing, and advertising effect beleifs, attitudes and values
The media influences our beliefs, attitudes and values by promoting a particular ideal influence or change behaviour. Aim to change beliefs by presenting new information, using your values to their advantage.

To assess health behaviour of individuals such as their perceptions and attitudes towards their disease and negative outcomes of certain actions
