The EU refuses to trade military resources to China. They make it harder for Chinese companies to do business in Europe and Britain wants China to invest in infrastructure

wants all countries to have freedom of movement and resists China’s intention to control the E/S China sea. The USA’s Navy 7th fleet is based in Japan whilst China is making bases in Burma, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

China joined the worid Trade Organisation in 2001. They have founded an alternative to the World, Bank, the SCO. They are part of a trade bloc :ASEAN, and a member of the UN security council.

Local private companies can’t compete with Chinese TNCs. New Chinese goods arent high quality. china blocked a UN security Council resolution to stop civil war in sudan. The value of textiles hove fallen and there is local riots e.g. in Zambia

China wants political equality and they receive good prices and raw materials, 650 Chinese State construction companies working on things like Nigeria’s 1st satellite. African countries benefit from trade deals and have alternative funding.
