Rotating Small Animal Internship
After graduation ( Fresh from the showa laced wif baby powda)
Rotates: IM, Surgery, ECC, Cardio
For 1 year (but tough year)
Internship
Academia right after school:
Vet school
easier residency transition
vet school environment
tertiary referral caseload
good didactic training
lower salary ( until u finish)
Publications ( need to write paper)
Private Practice( jumping straight into practice)
Great if no residency desire
Higher caseload
At times more ER
Less didactic
Higher Salary ( at the start)
Still can do a residency
Publications (if you want it)
