A
- known as ‘Law of the Nations’
- applies to a country if it is part of their legal system
- consists of rules that primarily govern the relationships between independent states.
- there is no government over the world but rules still exist, these rules are created through treaties, customs and international organizations such as the UN.
- if these rules are violated then a country may be forced to appear in the International court of justice.
