A
  • known as ‘Law of the Nations’
  • applies to a country if it is part of their legal system
  • consists of rules that primarily govern the relationships between independent states.
  • there is no government over the world but rules still exist, these rules are created through treaties, customs and international organizations such as the UN.
  • if these rules are violated then a country may be forced to appear in the International court of justice.
