The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) approved the establishment of Permanent Forum of People of African Descent to provide expert advice on addressing the challenges of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance
consist of 10 members viz. five elected by the UNGA and five appointed by the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
