What is internalisation of social rules?
A
- Traditions and superego become part of our inner self through socialisation so we conform willingly to social norms.
- Rational Ideology: We internalise social rules to tell us what’s right and wrong.

What is our conscience?
A
Freuds Psychiatric Theory:
- Our superego tells us to conform to rules of society by telling us what’s right and wrong.
- This develops through socialisation and our superego tells us to excersize social control.

What is tradition and culture?
A
- People learn and accept values, norms and traditions through socialisation.
- Religious people follow traditions and beliefs e.g. 10 commandments with christianity.
- Conforming to traditions shapes peoples identity and accepts them into a community.
