A surge or pursuit in order to find or obtain
Precipitous
Very steep, high. Ex: precipice (a cliff)
Petty
Caring about unimportant things, being obsessed with something not important
Dispossessed
Deprived of everything you own. Ex: Mexico City citizens have been dispossessed of everything they owned.
Acquiesed
To accept, complied, agree
Poaching
Illegally hunt or catch on a land that is not one’s own
Affray
Public fight that disturbs the peace
Embitter
To cause bitter feelings, to cause bad feelings
Scourged
To cause great suffering to someone, usually for punishment. Ex: The director came in every classroom and scourged the students who didn’t do their homework
Marauder
To steal or Robb, like a pirate;it takes everything and take advantage.
Pious
To Be very religious. Acting in overly religious ways
Interloper
Person who gets involved in something that is not their’s buisness
Draught
Alcoholic drink
Languor
Feeling tired, have no ability or motivation to do something
Reconciliation
To end a conflict or dispute, restoration of a friendly relationship
