A

happens when waves are in phase a path difference of one wavelength
- both go into peaks

What is destructive interference ?

A

happens when wavs are in phase a path difference of 1/2 a path difference
- one wave goes into a peak and the other goes into a trough
- means there’s no waves as they are out of phase
