Interfaces Flashcards
I_SC022
Material master info is sent from SAP to Shop Floor System
I_SC015
Released process orders are sent from SAP to Shop Floor System
I_SC018
Shop Floor System sends details of materials produced and consumed to SAP.
Material is received or issued on the proper process order
SC018 Ack
SAP sends an acknowledgement to Shop Floor System for each handling unit as to
whether it was received to inventory in SAP
I_LG021
Shop Floor System sends details of products transferred directly from manufacturing
to an offsite warehouse or separate plant. STO and outbound delivery are created
and processed
LG021 Ack
SAP sends an acknowledgement to Shop Floor System for each handling unit as to
whether it was successfully processed/transferred
I_SC020
Shop Floor System sends updates for handling units to (a) update the stock status,
(b) change the material and/or batch,( c) add or change a release code, and (d) add a
relabel flag – which will trigger a transfer order to a relabel bin in the WH.
I_SC021
Shop Floor System sends updates to batch characteristics and/or updates to the stock
status of the batch
I_LG013
SAP sends the HU details of a transfer to the manufacturing location. Each child HU is
included, with associated parent, material/batch, net/gross weight, number of tubes,
and associated process order/production run
I_SC034
Shop Floor System sends a request to do rework. A process order is created and
released, the components are updated based on the HU’s to be reworked, an STO and
delivery are created, and if WH-managed a transfer order created for the HU’s
Availability
Check
SAP check to determine whether the components or
capacities required for a production order are available.
Backflush
Automatic consumption of material against a process order.
Batch
Determination
The process in SAP to determine the correct batch of the
material to issue to the process order.
Bill of Material
BOM
BOM is a formally structured list of the components that
make up a product or assembly. BOM get copied to process
order of in-house manufactured materials.
Capacity
Planning
The process in which the capacity requirements are
determined and compared with each other.
Confirmation
Confirmation of the materials consumed in producing a
certain quantity of the product. Also, the transaction that
issues the backflushed materials to the process order.
Goods Issue
Manual Consumption of material against a process order.
Goods Receipt
Increase in inventory of the material being produced /
procured / recorded to the Process Order.
Material Master
Material master is maintained with all the details of MRP
and Work Scheduling view related to manufacturing
activities.
Master Recipe
In the Master Recipe, the processes to be used for
producing materials in the plant as well as the resources
and ingredients required for production is described.
Material
Requirement
Planning (MRP)
The Material Requirements Planning is a component of
Supply Chain Planning used to manage the manufacturing
processes such as ensuring materials are available for
production, plan manufacturing activities, delivery schedules
and purchasing activities etc.
Material Type
Characteristic of a part that groups together materials with
the same basic attributes, such as plant stock or a semifinished
product.
Order
Confirmation
The confirmations that document the processing status of
operations or sub-operations associated with manufacturing.
The SAP system distinguishes between the partial and final
confirmations.
Planned Order
An interim order resulting from an MRP run. Planned Orders
are either changed or turned into a Purchase Order for
external procurement or Process Order for internal
production.
Process Order
An order that contains the details such as number of
material components and required dates, for producing an
end product.
Production
Execution
A portion that controls the production operations and
captures all the costs that are involved in transforming raw
materials into semi-or finished products.
Resources
Resources are like work station on the production floor
which is used to manage the objects and persons involved
in the production process. In Resources, data related to
capacity and scheduling of planned order/process order are
defined along with parameter for costing of Process Order.
