interactionist approach uses more than one treatment to treat schizophrenia
Advantages: medication
by giving the patient more than one treatment plan, it gives them the skills to tackle their condition
Disadvantages: working
it is difficult to know if the treatment is working
Disadvantages: severity
people with worse symptoms may need more medication causing them to have a lower drive to try new things
Disadvantages: flexability
the treatment plan needs to be flexable
