He believed that the mind and body interact through the pineal gland, it is the point where they interact with one another.

What are the two issues with Interactionism?
A
1) Doesn’t solve how they interact just where they interact.
2)Descartes view has been proved false because though at Descartes time the function of the pineal gland was not known we now know that it is associated with the production of melatonin which regulates sleep rhythms.
