What is intellectual property?
Property that is intangible
What is copyright?
Grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights to determine whether, and under what conditions, this original work may be used by others
What is confidential information?
Information that a person receives in circumstances that make it clear they must not pass it on
What is a patent?
Gives inventors a monopoly on their invention for a certain period
What is a trade mark?
Recognisable sign, design, or expression that identifies a particular manufacturer or supplier
