Cellulitis
A common and potentially serious bacterial skin infection. the bacteria enter the skin.
Cellulitis treatment
Route: oral
Purpose: kills infecting bacteria
Important notes: antibiotics can cause anaphylaxis. Be alert for, tongue/throat swelling and difficulty breathing.

stomach upset
diarrhea
seizure can occur with accumulation

Can cause stomach upset nausea diarrhea acute kidney failure and increased liver enzymes with prolonged use

Topical corticosteroids (OTC) and (prescription)
Immunosuppressants

Reduces inflammation
used for thinner skin (face/eyelids/groin)
Topical corticosteroids (prescription)
 reduces inflammation
Local side effects : skin thinning/ skin color changes / irritation /burning /peeling of skin.
Systemic side effects: Weight gain /easy bruising /lower resistance to infection /mood changes.
