Has similar instrument called contrabassoon - lower in pitch
Xylophone vs Glockenspiel
Xylophone:
Wooden - doesn’t really ring if played
Usually lower sounding in pitch
Glockenspiel:
Metal - makes metallic sound d when hit and sound/note will stretch out
Usually higher sounding in pitch
