What are the four color codes for instrument markings and their meanings?
Red - operating limit. Ads of red line indicates limit. Pointer should not enter read during normal operation.
Red crosshatch – power off the Vne.
Yellow – precautionary or special operating procedure range.
Green – normal operating range

25 psi
When your needle in the lower yellow arc what is your oil pressure range?
25–55 psi
When your needle is in the green arc what is your oil pressure reading?
55–95 psi
