The use of the ADDIE label grew organically and informally over years of practice by designers and was spread among them mostly by word of mouth.
ADDIE is more of a colloquial term that is commonly accepted as what?
A sequence of procedural steps that is used to design instruction.
Does ADDIE have to be a linear procedure?
No, it can be agile and iterative.
What should we consider when choosing an ID Model?
- Which model works given our resources, time, and budget.
- Which model drives behavior that can be transferred to the workplace?
What happens during the design phase of ADDIE?

What three objectives do we focus on during the design phase?
- Developing the structure and format of the instruction.

What are some best practices during the design phase?
1.Write clear and concise learning objectives.

What are some design deliverables that may be created during a project?

What happens in the development phase (ADDIE)?
We start to build what was laid out in the design phase.
