Neutral, turn key to on position, let gauges sweep, then turn truck on
Gauges
Appear to be working, because no warning lights come on, and the ABS light came on and off
Mirrors
Clean and adjust properly from the inside
Windshield
Clean no damage no obstruction and no illegal stickers
Windshield wiper, arms, and blades
Secured not damaged and operates smoothly
Windshield wiper and fluid
Turn on show they are working
Left indicator right indicator, four-way hazards, highbeams

Volt meter
Is showing that my alternator is charging and the warning light is off
City horn and air horn

Air compressor, build air to the governor cut off between 120 and 140 psi
Heater and defroster
Demonstrate that they are working
Parking brake test
Red knob in yellow knob out hands on wheel apply foot on brake put tractor and drive push on accelerator until you fill a tug apply break put gear in neutral
Trailer brake test
Red knob out yellow knob in hands on wheel apply foot on brake put tractor in drive push on Excelerator until you fill a tug apply brake put gear in neutral
Service brake test
Red knob, Inn, yellow knob in hand on wheel apply foot on brake put tractor and drive slowly push on accelerator truck and trailer should move apply brake put tractor in neutral state. The service brake worked because my truck and trailer stopped and my steering wheel did not pull to the left or to the right. Next pool yellow knob, red knob will automatically come out now push on the accelerator get the air pressure gauges between 140 and 120 psi and listen for governor cut off. Turn truck off then turn key on position. Make sure gauges turn on.
Applied pressure test
Push both knobs in should not lose more than four psi in one minute while applying pressure on the break. Apply foot on break. Wait for needles on gauges to stop moving start stopwatch after one minute then state the applied pressure test worked because no more than four PSI was lost within one minute.
Low air pressure, warning, light, and buzzer
Fan brakes until you see the warning light and hear the buzzer which should happen before 55 psi pump the brakes till you see the warning light and hear the buzzer then state the lap test worked because the warning light and buzzer came on before 55 psi
Spring break test
Fan brakes until you see both trailer and parking knob pop out between 45 and 20 psi pump the brakes until both knobs pop out then state the spring break test worked because both knobs popped out between 45 and 20 psi scan cab and say this concludes my pre-trip inspection test
