what is the scientific method?
a system that is used when testing a experiment. includes collecting data, experimenting and testing.

a group of participants selected from a larger group

why are ethics important?
they are guidelines that help ensure respect for people rights, and to avoid physical and psychological harm.
what are some ethical considerations?
must be confidential and anonymous avoid harmful situations participant can stop experiment if they needs to stop and they can decline answers at anytime must have consent truthful data
what is deception?
misleading participants or not telling them the actual or whole experiment.
what is an hypothesis?
a testable prediction of two or more variables
how to find the mean?
the mean is the average. to find it you add the sum of numbers and divide by amount of numbers.
how to find the median?
look for the middle number or two numbers. if two numbers add them and divide by two
how to reduce bias
what is bias?
when a persons result is affected based on personal experience or opinion.
